Rohiliah, Tajikistan, Moslem

Starting in 1991 communism fell, civil war set in because the Moslems
wanted to make Tajikistan strictly Islam after separation from
Russia.  It was a horrible time for about 3 years.  “O God if you
exist, help us”, she would pray, as the family couldn’t do anything,
just hiding in their houses, people shooting others just to get bread.

Rohiliah grew up Moslem, prayed at least 5 times a day and learned
the Koran, but no peace, no joy, no answer.  She came from a large
family, and one of her brothers put her in a marshal arts school to
protect her from sexual abuse outside the family.  She loved Jesus,
but knew Him only us a prophet.  When the family ran out of money for
the school, the coach recommended another coach who was teaching
tekwondo for free as an opportunity to share his Christian faith. The
very first day of classes he began to share the love of Jesus.  She
never knew love, because in Islam it is only fear.  When she invited
Jesus into her life; the first thing she noticed was the overwhelming
love of Jesus that manifested in her body and life.

When she came home a Christian and the youngest child, they took it
as a temporary thing, but the love in her caused her to share it with
everyone.   When a brother and 2 sisters became Christians then the
persecution started.  The dad confronted her, it would shame the
family, he said, but her response was to share the love of Christ to
the whole world.  That night, dad and the oldest brother beat her
up.  Not knowing what to do she went to the church but they hardly
recognized her.  She knew she could never renounce the Lord.  The
next morning at church the pastor cried because she looked so bad
from the beating.  “What should I do?” she asked.  They prayed
together, God said through the pastor, this is spiritual warfare and
should pray and fast. After 7 days of fasting the family  tension
calmed down.

But in October of 2000 her life would take a dramatic change, as the
Moslems were mad, and bombed the church on a Sunday morning with
about 500-800 people in it.  The first bomb explosion was in the
middle of the church, then in panic she ran with the people, past
people without hands and feet. She ran to get clothes as it is such a
shame for a women not to be clothed, came back and was leaning down
to help when a second bomb exploded, not knowing she was right next
to a fire box in which the terrorist had placed another bomb.
Immediately she was in excursing pain, and within seconds found
herself in heaven, but didn’t know at that moment she had died.

Rohiliah says it like this.  “I saw a very brilliant, bright light,
it was brighter than the sun.  Everything was pure, holy, and shines
of glory.  Then I met Jesus.  O, the glory of heaven, the light and
glory of heaven were so bright. There was no fear or pain, only peace
and the love of God the Father. I was filled with an immense
happiness and joy.  The glory of Christ is indescribable, His face is
like sunshine, pure and holy such deep penetrating love, and then, He
turns to me and says,

‘O, Rohiliah, welcome home to paradise my daughter.  I am so happy to
see you’.  Now I realized I had died, but in my heart felt I did not
accomplish my divine calling and destiny on earth. ‘Please, Jesus,
can I go back?’, thinking He would say, ‘no’.  But He said softly,
‘all right, go back and finish what you’re supposed to do.’”
Rohiliah says it was so easy to talk with Jesus.

When she came back to earth, instantly such incredible pain, my
sister started praying in tongues, she couldn’t understand what was
happening.  She was like a fried chicken, 90% burned, had lost her
eyesight, big hole in her head with the brain showing.  Her sister
was crying and comforting her, “God is in control”.  Rohiliah, in her
spirit was just praising the Lord since just coming back from heaven
and being with Jesus.  She ended up at the hospital, had 3 surgeries,
then the next day was asking for chocolate, and in miracle fashion
her sight started coming back.  She had such a rapid recovery that
the doctor’s couldn’t believe it.  Today, she is completely healed
and whole except for one small scar.

Today, Rohiliah says it like this; “that Jesus is alive, He is real,
and the only way to God and heaven.”
